General Assembly: New President

On Thursday, June 15, 2023, The OpenVASP Association (OVA) held its annual General Assembly.

The OVA is thrilled to announce the election of a new President of the Board, Chris McAteer. Chris is one of the initiators and co-founder of the Association. It's great to have her back at the helm!

We would also like to extend our warm congratulations to the following Board Members who have been re-elected to serve on the board: Andrew Davidson, Delphine Forma, Lucase Betschart, Magdalena Boškić, Paolo Guarnerio and Olivier Relandeau. Their dedication and expertise continue to be invaluable to the OpenVASP Association, and we are grateful for their ongoing contributions to our mission of fostering a free, open-source and decentralised solution for the Travel Rule.

We extend our deepest gratitude to outgoing President David Riegelnig for his 4 years of invaluable service and dedication, as well as all members who participated in the General Assembly. Your engagement and support are vital to the continued success of our association. Together, we are enabling the start-ups, small and large, to be compliant while remaining competitive!

Stay tuned for more exciting updates and initiatives as we work towards advancing the adoption of interoperability between travel rule solutions and driving innovation in the blockchain industry!

Sincerely yours,

Andrew, Chris, Delphine, Lucas, Magdalena, Paolo and Olivier
